HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Doha, Qatar
The Hamad International Airport opened its doors in 2014 and hosts an estimated 29 million passengers yearly. The airport was designed as an oasis for travelers, with large wave like ceilings and water motifs throughout. OptoLum was asked to create a truly custom fixture that would match the curve of the wave like ceilings above the ticketing counters. Given a short lead time, OptoLum was able to meet each demand and provided a product that had zero pixilation, was energy efficient and curved to work with the unique ceiling.
